For nearly 300 years, the three kingdoms of the Karectia Peninsula have been locked in a draining territorial war.
After a peace treaty is signed to end the conflict and help each nation rebuild, two people once hailed as “war heroes” settle down in a small forest village far from the kingdom’s capital: Yures, a great mage, and Karka, his companion and a skilled swordsman.
Yures struggles with agoraphobia, while Karka constantly worries about him. As the two continue their quiet life together, one day, a pair of young siblings who have gotten lost in the forest suddenly rush into their home.
But soon, Yures notices a strange symbol on the back of the children’s necks…
