Im Sangho, who had been one of the most popular and influential students during high school, attends a reunion for the first time in years after graduation and runs into his old friend, Go Youngha.
Although Youngha—who had followed Sangho around throughout all three years of high school—has grown into someone strikingly handsome, unlike how Sangho remembers him, Sangho discovers that they share something in common: at the relatively late age of twenty-eight, Youngha is also attending university, just like him. Sangho feels a strange sense of kinship because of it.
After the reunion ends, the two walk home together. In the park, as they feed stray cats, they begin reminiscing about their high school days, and the awkwardness between them starts to fade. Just then, Youngha makes a shocking remark.
“I think my boss at my part-time job likes me. But he’s a guy, so it’s complicated. How do you even date a man? How do you have sex? Do you know?”
Sangho, who had already come out about his sexual identity in the past, feels offended and betrayed by Youngha’s behavior.
