The empire’s youngest death-row prisoner is granted conditional release under one condition: she must become the emperor’s son. Her task is to impersonate the youngest imperial prince, who is being sent as a hostage to the Grand Duchy. Told that she is going to die anyway, she is ordered to die as a prince instead.
